We had to postpone Gethsemane until tomorrow and stopped at a southern overlook instead

With hardly moving your eyes this view covers so much Bible history, not to mention the last two thousand years. It is believed this could be a likely spot where Abraham asked his servants to wait as he took isaac up to Mt Moriah. On the left is Mt Zion , where David reigned as King. It is also where the church of holy Sepulcre stands. You can see the dome in the middle which is the site of both first and second temples. To the right of that is the garden in the valley and then up hill to Mt of olives. On the far right horizon was our view from last night. That is also the slope where Jesus stood and wept over the city.

By the time we left the whole scene was breathtaking
