We were instructed in detail about the construction and destruction of both temples, with all that remains being the western wall of the old temple mount. The women have a separate viewing area from men.
They are still uncovering much of the wall as it was buried by later centuries. So more tunnels
We walked through the old city following the steps of Jesus on via Dela rosa
Then visited the church of holy Sepulcre
Which is amazingly massive
But we all agreed that the protestant garden tomb is the most realistic location of Jesus death and tomb burial.
Then We were able to have a private communion service led by our tour leader right at the tomb area, so that was my favorite thing today
