Tour day five

Once again horticulture and history overlap at our visit to the memorial garden of Baron Rothschild, the"known benefactor" of Israel.

I would still fail the quiz but I did learn that he quietly invested his fortune in developing Jewish settlements in the late eighteen hundreds. And he encouraged the Hebrew language to be used.

Is a beautiful spot with views of the sea, as Lior is featuring for us.

And it has a sensory garden for the visually impaired. So we are walking along with out eyes closed to experience the touch and scents and sounds.
