Our 4th game drive is all about lions (with a couple gnus thrown in). We first heard a Male lion was on the move towards the water hole, poor thing had been in a recent fight and suffered an eye injury on his right side. He strode right past us so very close.
We then went to the biggest watering hole where a pride of females & cubs were lounging around. The last image of a female by herself was just a few minutes before she lunged down the bank for a warthog kill, followed by much pig squealing and scuffle. Then she just left the carcass and walked back to the cubs.
The watering hole was large and we saw giraffes, croc, nyala, zebras, impalas, hippo, and several birds of course.
