All of these places including Magdala are on this stunning shoreline
This lovely mountainside has another memorial church and marks a possible site where Jesus gave the sermon on the mount.
There is also a church marking the prima of St Peter, where Jesus said, upon this rock I will build my church.
And this hillside where it is believed Jesus broke the loaves and fishes, Dave was asked to read that passage from the Bible.
We get a quick stop to go put our toes in the Galilee
And then our tour guide's favorite place, Capernaum
Because it might be considered the holiest place in Israel. It is verified in early centuries to be Peter's house and we know Jesus went there to heal his mother-in-law. It is a modern church built over a fifth century church that was built over a room of peter's house.
So you can look down into it from the church sanctuary.
