It was our fortune to find the church in Holwerd AND to find the caretaker who showed us the listing of the graveyard plots. Great great grandfather Pieter Lolkes Kuipers is buried here in row 34, plot 22. And his first wife, Janke next to him. The gravestone is no longer existing. However we found several others of the name Kuipers.
