Our home and nursery have been a flurry of rafts and inner tubes this week. When it gets this hot the only relief is in the river.
And let me tell you - it feels so good.
This popular put-in spot has some new twists and channels this year.
And they're off!
When I went to pick them up they were done early. Apparently the current is still pretty strong - we're on the river earlier than normal.
But they come home just as hungry. This crowd single handedly ate up everything in my frig. Then they made cookies. I tried to get a photo for you but they were literally flying off the pan in a blur and gone in 60 seconds!
