We were privileged to be invited to this little guy's 1st birthday party yesterday.
We have known most of these little ones since they were born, you just have to see how cute they are.
This little candy item is like a little tub of pure icing.
The pinata is such a huge part of the celebration.
This little sweetie even shared her succers with me.
I would hold this one on my lap, except she's afraid of me. Aren't those cheeks just so kissable?
Last but not least, this #5 child has exactly the same personality as my #5 child - always ready for some fun!In addition to all the cute ninos, I wish I had taken photos of the yummy food. The guacamole was unlike any I have tasted - the magic ingredients included chunks of avocado, cilantro, tomato, onion and cactus! I chugged 2 or 3 glasses of horchata and a couple bowls of tropical fruit, before finishing off with the famous cake, tres leches. So to my sweet neices who will take me to the lake this week, I repeat, "can I just wear my sweats"?
