Today's story is about the real Rabbit Run Lane. That would be my driveway. Every day the wild cotton tails dart back and forth as me and my family come and go. They are pests and we really wouldn't care if one day we hit one. They consume our product without paying for it which is justification enough.

Wild Hare Wanna-Be
There is a lane in our neighborhood that goes by the name of Rabbit Run. It has caused us many problems since the internet maps of this world think it leads directly to our property. Which is not the case. It leads nowhere. But that is a story for another time.
Today's story is about the real Rabbit Run Lane. That would be my driveway. Every day the wild cotton tails dart back and forth as me and my family come and go. They are pests and we really wouldn't care if one day we hit one. They consume our product without paying for it which is justification enough.
Except that there is one bunny that doesn't belong out there. He belongs in someone's lap. He's black and sweet looking. He's plump and just sort of lopes around.
And today when I saw him I just happened to have my camera. He doesn't run fast nor does he care to get away from me. He's really a misplaced pet that is living on the wild side. I'm not sure he's very well accepted in his rabbit world. Probably because he's quite handsome and large comparatively.
But he thinks he can handle it out there living with the natives. I don't believe it. Maybe I'll adopt him!
