This is a photography post, essentially. Or you might think that I'm just stuck on the topic of K falls. Or you might think that I have nothing else to talk about. Or you might think you want to visit another blog today. All of the above are probably true.

Anyways (as my K falls youngun likes to say), this was the beautiful hill that caught my camera eye this weekend. And since it was time for my K falls grandpup to walk, her momma and me headed right outside so I could take this shot. The light was magically sweeping up the hillside.

In just a few short steps it had almost reached the top of the hill. Good thing my daughter-in-law is in great shape because I was in a hurry to get to the end of the roofs blocking my full view. Step, step, step ... almost there.

Bummer. By the time we got to the open field view, the warm light had vanished. Such are the disappointments of chasing the light in K falls.
But those hills - we just don't have anything like them around here. They're so almost bare, yet so full of color and interest. I'm glad they can see them out of their window. Anyways.
And I miss them. And I miss the hills.
