One of the things I can look forward to now that we've moved here is the returning rainy season.
After being dry since mid-June the rains will return in earnest today. So it might just so happen that the creek begins to run today. Hubby doesn't think so b/c the ground is so dry it will take awhile to build up the runoff water. And he is usually right about these things.
But I like to mark such momentous events so I'm calling it today. Goodbye to the glorious fall days (mostly) and hello rain. We sort of missed you, but you will stay way beyond your welcome.
