Something Old, something new and something blue

These are new doors (btw, this post has nothing to do with wedding, the title just ties my randomness together). These doors are on the shop which we re-sided. I like them.

These old brown doors were on my house. Didn't like the way they looked although they worked perfectly fine. No real good reason to replace them so we didn't.

so the challenge to my girls was to make the old look like the new.

And they did it! Yay - they look totally new.

And now for something blue. Or bluish purple.

It' s also very old and we didn't replace it. One of the few surviving species of the remodel. It's climbing up old chilcken wire on my back patio but it's too late to change that. At least not without ruining the spectacular show it's giving us.
