
It was time to check out of this lovely place

With all its charm and desert beauty, including these cute ibex, so tame you could almost pet them.

So after killing some time hiking around the rim and this statue park




It was time to catch our ride to the airport.
The sparse desert included some interesting things.

These Bedouin villages as I mentioned earlier are still semi nomadic people. Even though they are right under major power lines they live very primitively with no infrastructure. Note the camel, there are lots of them.

We came right by the tel (hill in distance) of ancient Bersheeba, where Abraham came and where God spoke to Isaac and to Jacob. There is excavation ongoing there.

And then it's time to find our gate.
It's been a great tour and we are so thankful we could see and learn so much.
