I should know better but when I travel I have this obsession with figuring out where we are. And for trying to spot my birthplace in the patchwork quilt of the midwest. I was pretty sure I had located eastern Iowa (although I was not born there, heavens!).
And then I spotted Green Bay! There are NO lakes this size in Eastern Iowa. I was way off.And today I'm pretty sluggish from the time change.
But I'm here now and happy to be with my sweet younguns. Unfortunately the student one is still studying even though he has a week off. Tomorrow we will have to kidnap him and go to the beach.

Have an awesome time! The ocean will certainly be colder than when we were there but it just might be warmer that Oregon.
