Pretty in the Pasture

I am finally finished with the double brides photos and they have safely returned from their honeymoons. This is the only photo that has been shared so far (over an i-phone!) so I can safely post it for you.

It is definitely one of my favorites. Partly because it's my sweet neighbor girl, Lacey, who didn't want a lacy dress until she fell in love with "the" dress. And partly because of the setting - for all the fussy manicuring of lawn and flower beds it ends up being the pasture that steals the show. And partly because of how we fluffed out her dress and then at the last moment decided she needed to turn slightly to catch the soft morning light. Just love the profile that gave her and the magic swirl it gave to the dress.

I'm starting my 2011 Seniors tonight, hopefully there is more magic in the shutter!
