Ni Men Hou

One of the things that happened last week in the craziness of trade show week is that an unexpected Chinese tour arrived at the show. Some of the people that my husband met when he was there several years ago came looking for us. And as it turned out they wished to tour our nursery.
So the next morning I hopped on the bus with them and took them all the way down the valley to our place. My daughter helped me host them. We must look very American b/c they took alot of photos of us.

And once it started you know how it goes.

Everybody wants their turn.

Our interpreter was a really fun guy from Seattle. We would have been lost without him.

And then came the gifts. Thankfully, somebody tipped me off so that I was prepared with return gifts for each of them.

I have not a clue what this banner says. However I do know that the title of my post means "welcome to the group". And when I bravely spoke it on the bus they all smiled and clapped.

That was a relief!
