We finally were able to go to the beach with the fam, hoping for a beautiful sunny day but...

it was socked in with steady drizzle.

Nevertheless, our new daughter got to experience her first ocean beach ever AND write a message to her faraway friends.

I think it says she loves her new mama! What, no?


Anyways, as it turned out she missed the perfect September day at the coast by only 12 hours.

Monday morning showed up in all its glory, while the younguns were all in school. Good luck, Logan, with all those heavy topics of Physics, Chemistry and Biology this morning on your first day of the term.


While we strolled for a couple miles on the sand.

And studied some biology up close and personal.


It was so warm that by the time we got to here we wished we had dressed in shorts. We had to sit in the shade of the jetty just to cool down.

So there's nothing left to do but plan another trip soon!
