Three Families

each with three daughters (although only 7 could be there) plus 1 son and 1 boyfriend went to the mountains. And now I don't want to be at home or come home. But we did today and we're going back tomorrow. It's called mountain fever and we have it, we have it bad.

It all started with the first sunset and cloud-ringed mountain, the girls paddling around the pristine lake.

Then after sunset they went for a swim in the dark. I was shivering by this time.

The next day we all went for a hike, we were over the legal limit for group size.

That took us by more lakes and lunch of course.

Evening activities were the usual camp fare, but this new item is worth mentioning.

Then came the early morning mist which was a sight to behold. Especially when this early riser came paddling out of it.

Lastly was this amazing camp griddle that was pretty much a family heirloom. You will have to use your imagination on the pancakes that went with it, they were history by the time I realized I was missing the shot, sorry.
