A few of us got sun burns today, and a few of us are tan
But all slathered up we head out to the big lake.
for some good cousin time
Once we leave the safety of the smaller rivers, the waves are still big from last night's storm.
I spent a fair amount of time down low where it felt safer, until I got smart and realized the wave slamming is easier to take with your legs than your bottom.
there were some big ones out there today!
Even my youngun got to drive, once we're back on the river.
she was a little scary behind the wheel...
but I was soon to see worse!
The weather was just so fine, not too hot but warm enough for beach fun.
and tubing
and then hubby lost his hat, so we had to fish it out
