I'm usually intrigued by blossoms of any kind as you may have noticed. But this sight really caught my eye this past weekend while eating one of the 10 meals I had on Saturday.

There it was, right outside the dining hall window. Usually redbud trees are beautiful and all the skinny branches are just covered with the sweet, bright buds. But this tree was old, as are most of the plants at this campground, and it was just budding right out from the trunk of the tree. I think it was especially happy, which is not surprising considering the surroundings.
