
Newborn lambs don't start out warm and fuzzy, these babes are wet and it was below freezing this morning when I discovered them.

They slowly make their way over to mama who needs to clean them so they can dry off.

It is a slow and tedious process to watch, but very fascinating. She is compelled to finish bathing the firstborn before starting on the second, even though hypothermia can easily set in.

Eventually they get to their feet, after several unsuccessful attempts.

Next comes the search for food!
