This is my Lenten Rose that survived the move and without my even noticing it just starting blooming. That's the thing about this winter plant, it is not something you notice from across the yard. Not until I was out weeding a few days ago did I even see it, although it's clearly visible from my window.
And the purple one in my blog header was a housewarming gift from last year as well. I love this plant species alot, very subdued and gentle. If you want to look them up, they are called Hellibore.
