I'm just sayin

Some of my readers might think I have no life and just walk around all day taking random photos of leaf buds on the bazillions of plants we have setting around. While that could be partially true, they might be interested to know that we actually pay people to do this very same thing.

It's called scouting and documenting the bud break of each genus. Not only that but they go back out 2 weeks later and document the flush and then 2 weeks after that record the flower, if there is one.

And then they put it in a slide show something like this:



It's all very scientific actually. And organized.

Which does not describe me - so go ahead and think of me as random and with no life, it's OK, I can handle it. But I feel better just getting it off my chest.
