We were up early this morning so we walked around the lake in front of our hotel. It's a very popular spot for people to gather and work out together, all ages, and very few people are over weight. 2 stops this morning, a museum highlighting -all the pics- the 54 ethnic groups in VN beside the Viet people, all very unique with their own language and culture. Second we were fortunate to get inside the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, only outside pics allowed but the body is on display under heavy guard and respect.
Then lunch and a quick flight to Hue, which is the gateway to the DMZ, also formerly the Capitol city. On the plane we sat next to a Colorado man who was meeting a friend - she was given special access to a US military plane crash site of her still MIA husband. It is their first visit to the country, so quite sobering.
