Since you can't have just one alpaca, we have been shopping. They are herding animals and they just die of loneliness I guess.
Found one I really like and at first she was for sale, but then the owner said no she was only for sale after she has her baby, which could be 3 weeks to 2 months. Apparently they vary like that according to the season.
Really it's a decision about color - and let me tell you there is alot to think about. Since Earnest is nearly all white, we want a female with something different. Stay tuned!
