Once every twenty years or so, you really need to hike to the top of the big falls.
Today was our day, it was more steep than I remember!
Some lovely views along the way,
But a little disappointing when we got to this washout, after all the uphill stuff, this was the last little stretch of actual downhill to the top of the falls.
Oh, well, maybe next time.
Pretty neat view of the river from up there, so we crossed over it and decided to stay here,
with another view of the river, very quaint spot.
And very artsy neighborhood, I like it.
