Memory Games

This youngun is nearing the finish line - he has a very important test tomorrow!

And my home has been an intense place of study, memorization techniques and practice tests for hours upon hours and weeks upon weeks.

He uses random associations and word pictures to connect all these thoughts in his head. I wouldn't be surprised if he uses my face in sort of a Judge Judy association.

He pretty much has a one foot high stack of note cards completely committed to memory, including the broader implications of the law they represent. These note cards go to bed with him, they go to church with him, they go out to eat with him.

The results of tomorrow's test won't be disclosed for several more weeks.

I know he will do well and I can tell you there is probably nobody more diligently prepared.
