Today finishes 1 week of wedding aftermath. The heat is finally subsiding and life might be returning to some kind of normal. For one thing I will be able to walk into my laundry room (recycling our underwear has drawn a few complaints around here); hey, I can even walk through my living room. There will be the last of the returns today - canopies, dishes, towels, even the wedding arch. I can take the leaf out of my table. There will be cleaning - the garage can finally be swept out, the bedrooms downsized, even the little tiny handprint on my bathroom mirror will get cleaned off.
So this will be good, much less work certainly. OK, trying to cheer myself up is just not working, it's really sad and I'm not liking the quietness already. The wedding couple takes off shortly and I won't see them for quite some time. Can someone please come visit us soon?
*For some reason this didn't post this morning. So an update - I'm feeling better now; waiting to hear if the newlyweds arrived safely to their stopping point in Idaho.
