A Simple How To Lesson
Contrary to what you might think, a pond is much harder to take apart than to put in. First you have to drain all the water, and remove the decorative rocks. You can tell the difference between decorative roc

k and support rock by the amount of slime.
Then you must rescue the fish and frogs and anything else living down in that slime.

Once you've got the water out you might think you're nearly done. But that's just when the real work begins. In fact it was so much work I forgot to take pictures. Or maybe it was so slimy and muddy that I couldn't risk it.
Once we got this far we had a large hole in the ground which now needs to be filled up by shoveling in alot of dirt.
But since we had already put in a day's work we just decided to have a party. An old dug out pond makes a very nice pit for a huge bonfire. But it doesn't look very appealing the next day.
