Did you read the pioneer woman today??? What was your major in college? I majored in Gerontology, which is the study of the social, psychological, and biological aspects of aging. Maybe you didn't make her life hard by naming her Geron, you just made sure that she had intellectual origins in her name so that she could rise above people mispronouncing it!
I did read that! Actually I wasn't familiar with the term when she was born - we just liked the name; hopefully it won't be a downer when she is old; meanwhile it's character bulding! Hey, thanks again for hosting us. :)
