I have been able to spend a lovely amount of time this Memorial Day weekend just doing what I please. And usually that means working on photos in some way. I have a "little" catching up to do so I first wanted to make sure I had everything chronologically arranged. Thank goodness that the age of digital photos keeps dates stored with photo files. Not so back in the days of film & prints.
So after many hours of putting things into the correct year or school grade I offer this handy list of the diverse ways I used to order endless family photos:
How many candles on the cake and who is blowing them out.
Length of hair, or lack thereof in case of small child
Youngest child present
Details of youngest child such as crawling, walking, diapered, bottle, binky
Matching outfit worn in similar, dated photo
Teeth - baby teeth, missing teeth, position of permanent teeth or braces
Lunchpail - indicating child in school
Carpet and wallpaper in background
Text on T shirts that identifies an event or year
Matching dresses indicating Easter
Broken Limbs or Stitches
