Hanoi

made it to Hanoi, yay! (where Dave is photo- bombed in the airport). We found our lovely hotel and our people by midday. I was curious about the surprise our tour host had planned for the afternoon- turned out he had rounded up old US military jeeps for our touring. We visited the prison where John McCain was kept, nicknamed the Hanoi Hilton by our troops (originally it held VN prisoners during French colonization as seen in display). We also visited the lake where McCain's plane was shot down. Pretty cool start day even if it rained.
