Oh my!

While we have been following our sweet younguns as they tour faraway places I often check webcams before bed. Because on some evenings I catch glimpses of the sun coming up before they are even awake on their next morning.
Tomorrow they will tour this!!

Ducklings?

These two have been hanging around this spot alot lately, Do you suppose they have a nest?
Baby ducks would be so cool. But we have a dog so I should not let my imagination fly away with me.

Grab the tweezers

Meet more of our new friends over the fence. The one checking me out has some serious chin hairs.
See that water? That's where the chorus of frogs lives. I wonder what they do in the daytime?

Because it's still winter

These are for my daughter who is stuck in winter.

We're sending you springtime!

It's spring and there's some interesting things sprouting in my yard - I wonder what these large red heads are going to be?

And I wonder if they will survive this girl?

A Teddy Bear Hole in my Heart

I'm sorry, Mom. You know those 3 cute chenille teddy bears you made for my girls, the ones with the cute knitted scarves I made to match their rooms? I gave them away. Hubby made me do it. I'm not sure I can live with myself...it's been a meltdown day.

I should at least have taken their picture. But that would have jeapardized the outcome.

Chorus of the Night

Speaking of new friends - these are the sounds of the night life here on the farm. And with the moonlight shining onto my pillow last night, it has been quite pleasant all in all. I'm finally glad we did this.

My Heroes

A big thank you to these new friends, Ron and Lois, for housing my daughter for the last 8 weeks. You are an answer to prayer!

Half of my life in a dumpster

Since I was making such pitifully slow progress on emptying my nursery house, the family did an intervention and in less than 2 hours tonight they filled up a pickup load of trash.

I really stink at this moving thing. What I am good at is accumulating, procrastinating and reminiscing.

All those broken crayons, they deserve better! They still had a life to live...
