Not today, Mama.

Can you hear the hand? It is saying, "I am too tired and bummed from losing our game today to pose for you, mother dear." Well, at least the trees are cooperating - one of our last glorious fall days.

Drama Eyes

I am happiest when I can focus in on young drama queens. I especially like bright eyes in different colors!

Rock Solid

On our recent trip to Tahoe & the eastern Sierras, I had only one subject to work with. He likes to first read the roadside facts before he will pose for me.
And he is a busy man.

Usually I spend alot of time telling him to get on the rock, or get in front of the rock.


Sometimes it's in the aspen, or in front of the lake,


Or on this eerie shoreline,

Or this great high meadow.

But sometimes it's just plain tricky.
